He’s one spot above Rico Carty and behind legends like Wally Berger, Eddie Mathews, Ronald Acuna Jr., Chipper Jones, and the great Hank Aaron.

Freddie Freeman is fifth in franchise history with 776 walks. He’s always been patient and willing to take his walks rather than swing at bad pitches. It’s no surprise to find Freeman’s name inside the top five here. Chipper Jones is the Braves all-time leader with 1,512 walks.

Freeman ranks 10th in franchise history with 969 runs scored. He’s just behind Hugh Duffy, Bobby Lowe, and Andruw Jones. Freeman is just ahead of Billy Nash and Rabbit Maranville. Freeman led the league in runs scored three-consecutive years from 2020-2022.

Freddie Freeman ranks seventh in hits with 1,704. Freddie is sandwiched between Dale Murphy and Rabbit Maranville on the Braves all-time hits list. Freeman has always been a hit machine and even led the league in hits in 2018 with 191. He also led the league in hits with the Dodgers in 2022 when he had 199 knocks.

Freddie Freeman ranks third in Braves history with 367 doubles. Freddie has always been a bit of a doubles specialist. His power combined with his propensity to spray line drives into the gaps has equated to some fantastic doubles totals.

Freddie Freeman is sixth in Braves franchise history with 271 home runs. He’s behind Andruw Jones (368), Dale Murphy (371), Chipper Jones (468), Eddie Mathews (493), Hank Aaron (733).

Freddie Freeman is seventh in Braves history with 941 RBI. only five Braves have ever exceeded 1,000 RBIs while playing for the franchise. Hank Aaron is the only one to ever surpass 2,000. In fact, Hammerin’ Hank is the all-time leader in Major League Baseball history in RBI. Freeman has the fewest games played of anyone in the top seven. Once again, you can’t help but wonder what might have been if he had stayed a Brave.

Freddie Freeman was hit by 76 pitches in his 6,660 plate appearances with the Braves. That’s good for third in franchise history behind Andruw Jones (83) and Tommy Tucker (150). Tommy Tucker only had 4,047 PAs, which is crazy compared to Jones’ 7,276 and Freeman’s 6,660. What was going on with Tucker? He basically doubled Freeman’s HBPs in a little over half the PAs.
Atlanta Braves: Freddie Freeman Ranks 7th in Sacrifice Flies
Freeman is tied for seventh in Braves history with 41 sacrifice flies. He’s just two ahead of Brian McCann’s 39 but McCann earned his in nearly 2,000 fewer PAs. Bob Horner is sixth with 42 sac flies in 3,966 PAs. Freeman’s lower ratio is likely due to his high line-drive rates.
Atlanta Braves: Freddie Freeman Ranks 6th in Extra Base Hits (XBH)
It’s no surprise to see Freeman with the sixth-most extra-base hits in Braves history. Freeman is all over the leaderboard in all the slugging statistics. Freeman had 663 extra-base hits with the Braves. That’s 164 more than the next-best.

Freeman is fourth in Braves history with 102 IBB, behind only Dale Murphy, Chipper Jones, and Hank Aaron.
Atlanta Braves: Freddie Freeman Ranks 1st in BABIP
Many people look to BABIP as a symbol of luck. Freddie Freeman has the highest BABIP in Braves history. Freeman hits a ton of line drives and line drives have somewhere around a .660-.670 average (off the top of my head). Freeman’s high BABIP is no luck. He’s a great hitter.
