Freddie Freeman High School Stats: Pitching

Freeman was certainly an impressive hitter but it’s also worth noting that he was 6-1 with three saves and a 1.27 ERA as a pitcher his senior year. Freeman pitched in his junior and senior seasons on the varsity team at El Modena. He finished high school with a total ERA of 1.28.

Scouts considered him a Major League pitching talent and a hitter.

His number is retired at El Modena High School.

Freddie still trains at El Modena in the offseason. Before the 2024 season, Freeman donated $500K to help fund the construction of a brand new clubhouse for his former high school. The school now has a mural of Freddie Freeman on the outside of the clubhouse.
