The Atlanta Braves will visit New York to face the Mets tonight. The Braves will send Charlie Morton to the mound and the Mets will send Jose Quintana. The Braves are 22-12 and the Mets are 18-18.

If you are looking for some good Atlanta Braves player props tonight, it’s good to know a player’s history against the opposing starter. Let’s take a look at the matchup for the Braves hitters tonight.

Jose Quintana vs. Braves Hitters

In 176 plate appearances, Braves hitters have a .369 OBP vs. Quintana. The Braves are hitting .270 against the lefty with a .434 slugging percentage. The Atlanta Braves have a career OPS of .804 off Jose Quintana.

Ronald Acuna Jr. vs. Jose Quintana

Ronald Acuna Jr. has not had much luck against Quintana in his career. Acuna is hitting .125 with a .222 OBP vs. Quintana. He has just two hits in 16 at-bats with no extra-base hits. We hope Acuna will turn those numbers around tonight, but this might be a good time to avoid any Acuna player props.

Ozzie Albies vs. Jose Quintana

In just 13 at-bats, Ozzie Albies is hitting .538 with two homers and two doubles in just 13 at-bats. Another case of the lefty-killing Albies. Ozzie Albies is always a favorite pick when the Braves face lefties. Take it up a notch when he has a stellar resume against an opposing pitcher like this.

Orlando Arcia vs. Jose Quintana

Orlando Arcia has the most career at-bats against Quintana of all the Braves with the worst average. Arcia has 33 career at-bats with a .121 average. Arcia has truly been a different hitter with the Braves than he was in Milwaukee. He crushed lefties last year and he may be due against Quintana. However, you may want to avoid any Arcia props for tonight.

Adam Duvall vs. Jose Quintana

Adam Duvall might get the start tonight since the Braves are facing Jose Quintana. Not only is Quintana a lefty but Duvall has two homers in just 10 at-bats against him.

Marcell Ozuna vs. Jose Quintana

Ozuna is among the best hitters in all of baseball right now. We just saw what he did against Nick Pivetta. He entered Wednesday’s game against the Red Sox with four homers in 24 at-bats off Pivetta and he left with two more homers off of him. Ozuna is hitting .458 with two doubles and a homer off of Quintana. Ozuna currently leads the MLB in homers and RBI. Give me more Ozuna all day long.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm ET.
