Marcell Ozuna saw his career-best and Major-League leading 17-game hit streak come to an end last night in the Braves 5-2 victory over the Rangers.

On Sunday night, Ozuna began a new hit streak by crushing his ninth homer of the season. Marcell Ozuna took Michael Lorenzen deep in the first inning with two on and two out. Ozuna collected three RBI on the blast to pad his league leads in both homers and RBIs.

I’ve been looking at these pages for a long time and I’ve never seen one this dominant.

Marcell Ozuna is on pace for 73 HRs and 219 RBI for the season. I highly doubt he’s going to have over 200 RBI but my goodness, he’s been on absolute fire for nearly one year now.
