Atlanta Braves Odds: Picks of the Day (04/19/2024)
We are 14-1 on our picks this year. We finally missed on one in the final game of the Astros series. We had Matt Olson over 0.5 hits and while he had a solid game with two walks and an RBI on a hard-hit ball. He was not credited with a hit!
- Braves Moneyline (-205): I like the pitching matchup and a the idea that a scuffling lefty is coming into Atlanta to face the world’s most dangerous lineup. The Braves are the only team in the league averaging over six runs per game.
- Austin Riley Player Prop: Over 1.5 TB (-110)
- Orlando Arcia Player Prop: Home Run (+500) The -230 odds for a hit are just too low for fun. We have never picked a home run in our picks of the day. Arcia had a better homer rate than Acuna vs. LHP last season. I’ll take the +500 here. Homers are so hard to predict but this is a nice scenario. Also… at 13-1 on our picks, you should have an extra dollar or two to risk on a homer here. LFG!!!
- Ronald Acuna Jr. Player Prop: over 0.5 Runs Scored (-180) Acuna Jr. has scored in 11 of 17 games this season and three of the past four. He’s hot right now, carrying a six-game hit streak into tonight’s game.
