The Atlanta Braves are coming off of a 6-5 victory over the Mets in the second game of the series Tuesday night. We got our pick of the day right with an Austin Riley hit and even hit the parlay pick with an Austin Riley hit, Lopez 3+ Ks, and an Acuna stolen base.

Tonight, the Braves (7-3) will face off against Mets (4-7) starting pitcher Jose Quintana. The Atlanta Braves will send Allan Winans to the bump.

The game is scheduled for 7:20 PM EST at Truist Park.

Braves fans can watch on Bally Sports South or listen on 680 AM or 93.7 FM locally.

Talkin’ Tomahawk’s Pick of the Day for Braves vs. Mets (04/11/2024)

We are 9-0 in our last nine picks! 10-0 if you count the Acuna parlay from last night. Let’s keep it rolling tonight.

Marcell Ozuna is hitting .455 in 22 career at-bats against Jose Quintana. Ozuna has two doubles and a homer with just three strikeouts. Ozuna is riding a nine-game hitting streak into the game tonight. He’s on fire and he has a great matchup. He’s our pick of the day for a hit. However, the problem is Ozuna’s hit line is at 1.5.

That’s why I’m going to pivot to Adam Duvall for to get a hit tonight. Duvall has been getting in the lineup to face lefties and he has two homers in eight at-bats against Quintana. He has a .375 average against the lefty.

Talkin’ Tomahawk Pick of the Day: Adam Duvall +0.5 Hits (-215)
*Our record on these picks is 9-0 this year.

Other Braves Bets we like today vs. Mets and Quintana

Adam Duvall HR (+310): With a good matchup against Quintana (LHP) this could be a great spot for Duvall to get his first homer of the season.

Ronald Acuna Jr. 1st HR of the season (+400): Just like with the stolen base last night, my man is due. Acuna has better odds than both Duvall and Ozuna and he will get more opportunities by hitting leadoff. He is overdue for a homer and judging by his play last night and his comments after the game, he’s feeling good.

Jose Quintana to allow 1st earned run of game (+115): Allan Winans is a capable starter and if he can make it through the top of the first half unscathed, I like the Braves offense against anyone right now. Ozzie Albies has a tasty lefty matchup. Acuna hasn’t hit a homer yet but he is heating up and his OBP is .391.

Acuna SB (+270): Speaking of Acuna’s .391 OBP, he’s getting on base well and his eight-game stretch without a steal was a long dry spell by his standards.
