Former Atlanta Braves pitchers Jonny Venters and Kris Medlen have teamed up one more time. Instead of playing for the same team, they are training new generations how to play the game to the best of their abilities with Legacy Sports Complex.

What is Legacy Sports Complex?

Legacy Sports Complex is a sprawling 15,000 sq. ft. training facility located in Suwanee, Georgia. A second location is opening in Lawrenceville, GA at the end of January. From there, they hope to continue the expansion through Georgia with an eye on a potential national expansion.

At the head of the operation is former MMA and Muay Thai fighter Dustin Chovanic, who opened the doors to the operation in December of 2022 with Jonny Venters.

Kris Medlen has joined Venters as part of the ownership group, which is now loaded with former Atlanta-based professional athletes. Medlen joins the fray just months after former Atlanta Falcons Mohamed Sanu, Christian Blake, Sean Weatherspoon, and Elijah Wilkinson joined the ownership group and headed up the Legacy Football Division.
