The Braves will have to make a decision on Charlie Morton’s $20 million club option, and other options five days after the World Series ends. Eddie Rosario’s option will also be on the table.

AJ Smith-Shawver made the postseason roster and impressed many around the club in 2023. His meteoric rise through the minors is the stuff of legend, and some say he has legendary stuff that’s ready to play at the big-league level next season.

He was a possible starter for Game 3 of the NLDS, which shows how much confidence the Braves had in the kid. I encourage you to read about his background at the link below.
