Braves fans are happy to see Kyle Wright make his debut after dealing with shoulder inflammation this spring. Wright looked rusty in his return. He made it just three innings, allowing four hits, four walks, and four runs.

Matt Olson Hit the Braves’ Hardest Home Run of the Statcast Era (Since 2015)

Matt Olson’s laser beam home run went 448 feet to give the Braves a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. This is currently the hardest hit ball in the MLB this season. The home run was Olson’s fourth of the young season and is so satisfying to watch. Please enjoy below.

Ozzie Albies Hits 100th Career Homer to Tie Game in 4th

Ozzie Albies golfed his second homer of the year over the right field wall. The two-run shot tied the game at four in the fourth.

This homer was also Ozzie’s 100th of his career. Albies average 25 homers per 162 games for his career.

Michael Tonkin Gets First Win Since 2016

Tonkin has been really good out of the pen for the Braves so far this year. He relieved Wright after three innings last night and kept the Braves in the game, going three innings and allowing no runs. While Tonkin shut the Reds down the Braves’ bats went to work, earning Tonkin his first win since 2016.

Nick Anderson Collects First Save for Braves in 2023

We’ve discussed Nick Anderson’s elite history and the potential he brings to be an impact arm for the Braves this season. With Raisel Iglesias on the IL to start the season and AJ Mintoer going in back to back games, Anderson got the nod last night with a two run lead.

Anderson struck out one while not allowing a hit or a walk. It was a clean ninth inning for the former Rays’ closer.

Atlanta Braves Game Today

Two flame throwers face off tonight with Spencer Strider (2.45 ERA) for the Braves and Hunter Greene (5.63 ERA) for the Reds.
