The 1954 Hank Aaron Topps Rookie Card (#128) is one of the most iconic baseball cards of all time. The ungraded market value of this card has been selling between $1,325.00-$2,002.77 on eBay between 08/12/24-10/07/2024. PSA has graded over 3,600 of these Hank Aaron rookie cards. Only 25 are grade nines and just two are rated as PSA 10s. The rarity of mint versions of this rookie card has boosted its value up to around half a million dollars and even more! This card is already rare enough, but to have one that grades out as PSA 10 puts it in incredibly rare air. According to PSA’s website, there are currently only two (out of over 3,600 PSA graded) GEM-MT 10 rated versions of this card in existence.
So, even though a PSA 10 version of this card is listed at $463,842.00, it’s possible this card could far exceed that price on the open market. With only two PSA 10s registered through PSA, there’s no telling what the right collector would pay. It’s worth what someone is willing to pay for it. The fact that a 9-grade version of this card sold for $645,000 in 2021 might hint at it’s potential in the future.
