This card is a version of the 1991 Topps Micro Rookie Card but it has the Desert Shield emblem on the right under the “#1 Draft Pick” print. There were only about 6,800 copies of these. The Desert Storm edition of these cards were sent to U.S. Miliatary members serving in Iraq and Kuwait during Operation Desert Shield. Due to the rarity of this card, the value is significantly higher than the standard version.

And here it is again! Yep, there’s another version of the 1991 Topps card and it’s worth more money than the original once again. Topps used to print a limited amount of their cards on a premium white card stock. We have provided more of an explanation below. One thing is for sure, Topps loves this card. In 2018, they re-released two more versions with stamps on them.

What is the difference between Topps and Topps Tiffany?
Topps Collector’s Edition cards (released between 1984-1991), or “Tiffany,” are printed on white cardstock with a glossy finish. The standard Topps prints are the familiar gray cardstock and don’t have the shiny finish.
The Tiffany cards are worth a lot more money than the standard set. They are higher quality and rarer.
They aren’t officially called Tiffany cards. They were called “Collector’s Editions,” but hobbyists and collectors later began calling them “Tiffany” versions.
